Last Saturday was a special day! We went to Nemo on Ice. Grandma Jan bought us the tickets for a Christmas gift this year. Ian and Miah were mesmerized by the lights and the costumes! Our seats were great! We were high enough off the floor that we could see the whole rink, yet close enough that we could see their faces and expressions! 
We watched Finding Nemo at home the night before (to get prepped for the big show)!
Bruce, the Great White Shark, was incredible. .
I was a little disgusted by how expensive the souvenirs were. I told Matt that I remembered going to the Ice Capades where my mom bought my sister and me twirly flashlights for the show. I remember how fun they were and wanted to get them for Ian and Miah. They wanted $22. for a cheap flashlight...(no thanks) $12. for a snowcone in a Nemo cup... (no way!) and $15. for a program which included this fancy Nemo hat! (ok... but I still feel like I've been taken advantage of!) Ian loves the hat almost as much as his dad!
